BREEAM

BREEAM, launched in the UK in 1990, awards points for sustainable practices across energy, water, materials, and building life cycle. Scores range from fail (below 30) to outstanding (85+).

LEED

LEED, started in the US in 1993, rates buildings on energy, water, materials, and indoor quality. Certification requires 40+ points, with platinum at 80+.

WELL

WELL, launched in 2014, focuses on building design that promotes health and well-being through comfort and air quality. It now spans over 34,000 projects globally.

DGNB

Founded in 2008, DGNB assesses buildings according to 50 criteria, including environmental, economic, and sociocultural factors, with a focus on the building’s entire life cycle.
